Robert Smith

Robert Smith is an associate to Dimitriou & Associates, P.C., focusing his practice on business and real estate matters. Mr. Smith speaks conversational Spanish, and has a reading knowledge of Modern Hebrew and Classical Aramaic.

Mr. Smith received his juris doctor, with honors, from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. Originally from Florida, he received his undergraduate degree, with high honors, from the University of South Florida.

During law school, Mr. Smith externed for the Hon. James Lambden, Associate Justice of the California Court of Appeal, and then for the Hon. John E. Munter, who presides over one of the San Francisco Superior Court’s complex litigation departments. Focusing his coursework on business and commercial law, he earned the Witkin Award for Excellence (top grade) in his Business Associations and Introduction to Federal Securities Law course.

Prior to joining Dimitriou & Associates, Mr. Smith was a Bridge Fellow at the JFK University School of Law’s Housing Advocacy Clinic, where he developed a proficiency in landlord-tenant law and local rent control ordinances.
